Braces!!!!

The braces Dr. Faubl uses are much smaller than many designs, but there is quite a lot of technology built into the brackets. The final, proper alignment of each tooth is built into its bracket design.

This enables Dr. Faubl to use wires than are much more comfortable than previously used.

The wires and bracket design allow for faster treatment. The average treatment is 1-2 years as opposed to the 2-3 years that used to be recommended. The following pictures shows how tiny the brackets are and shows how quickly teeth can move. The second picture is after 3 months of treatment.


Also on this patient, Dr. Faubl was able, in combination with a functional appliance, to save four teeth that were previously recommended to be extracted.

That is why the first picture is of such poor quality since it is a picture of a picture that the patient brought with them from elsewhere.
